01 · Fit check

This is for you if…

  • You've been fitting long enough to know that the rule-based approach has a ceiling, and you've hit it.
  • You want to rebuild how you think about fitting, not collect more tricks.
  • You'll do the reading, the thinking, and the case-work between calls. Mentoring isn't a lecture series.
  • You want continuity: the same thinker, over months, building on what came before.

It's not for you if…

  • You want a rulebook or a templated "do this, not that" protocol. The method is how to think, not what to move.
  • You're not currently fitting clients. Come back when you have a live practice, you'll get more from it.
  • You want immediate access, unlimited availability, or daily hand-holding. That's not this.
02 · What you get

What you get, every month.

Five components. One monthly rhythm. Designed for the long arc: typically 6–24 months of real work, though some fitters stay longer.

Monthly call

One 60-minute 1:1.

Held on Google Meet. Same structure every month: a run-through of any WhatsApp threads from the past month that need a visual look together, a review of any complicated cases you've had, a deep dive into a topic you pick, and Q&A you guide. Every call serves the 6-month goal we set together.

WhatsApp

Access between calls.

For stuck cases, quick questions, pattern-check photos, or anything that can't wait. Reasonable hours, reasonable volume, not 2 AM emergencies, but a proper back-and-forth when you need it.

Weekly

The Thought Trigger.

One short prompt per week, delivered by email. A provocative framing, a research finding, a case, or a question that sharpens how you think about the next rider through your door. Exclusive to mentees.

6-month goal

Direction, not drift.

Set on your first paid call. Something specific, like "understand forces well enough to apply them in every fit", that every subsequent call is plotted against. No drifting. No wasted calls.

Access

New material as it drops.

New essays, Case File deep-dives, early access to YouTube cases before they go public. All part of the subscription.

03 · How it works

From free call to rolling monthly.

  1. Book the free first call.

Pick a time. Fill in a short pre-call form so I arrive understanding your background.

  2. The free call (60 minutes).

We talk about your fitting history, your process, the training you've done, and where you think you're stuck. I'm deciding if I can help you. You're deciding if I'm who you want to spend time with. No payment is taken, and no pressure goes either way.

  3. The decision.

If mentoring is the right fit, I send a Stripe subscription link. If it isn't, I'll tell you why and point you somewhere more useful.

  4. The first paid call: goal-setting.

We schedule this shortly after the free call. On it, we set the 6-month goal that will direct every future call, and you get the mentee WhatsApp line immediately. Thought Trigger access usually starts here too, though for some fitters we hold it back a few months until the method has bedded in and it'll land harder.

  5. Rolling monthly calls.

One hour per month, same day/time if we can land it. WhatsApp in between. Thought Trigger in your inbox weekly.

  6. Cancel whenever.

No forms, no notice period, no awkwardness. Stop when the value stops being obvious.

04 · The free first call

A real conversation, not a sales pitch.

By the end of the free call you'll know whether mentoring is the right next move for you, and whether I'm the right person to help. That's more useful than most fitters get from a paid call elsewhere.

What we'll cover

  • Your fitting history: how long you've been fitting, what education you've had, what method (if any) you follow today.
  • What your bookings look like: volume, rider mix, price point, business model.
  • The training and reading you've done across sport science, biomechanics, and anatomy.
  • Where you feel stuck, and where you'd like to be in 12 months.
  • Whether mentoring with me is the right route, or whether a Case Consultation, a course, or something else entirely would serve you better.
05 · Pre-call form

Before the call.

Fill in the short pre-call form at least 24 hours before. 10–15 minutes.

Per week or per month, either works. Rough is fine.
Solo, retail-attached, mobile, club-based.
List the courses, certifications, degrees, or self-directed work you've invested in. Retül, BikeFit, IBFI, masters-level study, sport-science background, whatever's relevant.
3–5 sentences. How does a typical fit run, from booking to follow-up?
What are you hoping to change in the next 6–12 months? What's making you consider mentoring today rather than in a year?
One paragraph. Where do you want to be six months in, and how would you know we'd got there?

Prefer email? Send your answers to andy@andy-brooke.com instead, either route reaches me.

The commitment

Cancel anytime. No lock-in. No notice.

No minimum term. No 3-month contract. No cancellation form. Stop the subscription the day it stops being valuable to you. Most fitters don't, but the option is the point.

06 · Questions

Questions.

How long do mentees usually stay?

Mentoring is built for the long arc. Most fitters work with me for somewhere between 6 and 24 months, long enough to hit meaningful goals, short enough that you can pause when life gets in the way. Some stay longer when there's still a clear thing to work on.

Can I pause instead of cancel?

Functionally, cancel-and-resume-later is the same as a pause, and there's no penalty for either. If you stop for three months and come back, you're welcome. No re-onboarding.

Can I skip a call one month but keep the subscription?

Yes. Tell me in advance and we roll the call into the following month. No call goes unused.

What if you decide I'm not the right fit for mentoring?

Rare, but it happens. On the free call I'm honest about it. If I can't help, I'll tell you, recommend where to go, and we part on good terms.

What results can you guarantee?

None of the specific ones. I can tell you that fitters who engage with the Thought Trigger every week, bring real cases to the calls, and do the thinking between calls always come out of a 6-month cycle thinking differently than they went in. Fitters who just show up for the hour and expect me to talk at them don't.

Start with the free call.

60 minutes, no payment, no pressure. If mentoring is right for you, we'll move to the subscription after. If not, you'll leave the call with at least some direction on what to do instead.
